Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital is excited to announce that our hospital will be accepting referrals for outpatient ultrasound services from our Veterinary Colleagues in the Delaware County region!
Dr. Mengine is pleased to be offering both cardiology consultations and abdominal ultrasounds at Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital. Initially joining the Stoney family in 2017 as a general practice associate, she has gradually transitioned to exclusively performing sonography. Dr. Mengine also serves as a specialist for the telemedicine service Sonopath, reading abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds for veterinarians throughout North America. Dr. Mengine has had a special interest in cardiology since her days as a vet student, and to support that interest, she has pursued mentorships with local cardiologists throughout her career. She went on to complete a post-graduate credential in Veterinary Cardiology from the University of Liverpool.
In more recent years Dr. Mengine has expanded her skillset to include abdominal ultrasound, and between her own work and her telemedicine role, has now interpreted thousands of scans, and enjoys teaching ultrasound skills to other veterinarians as an instructor for Sonopath. Dr. Mengine has previously worked in both general and emergency practice in the Philadelphia area, since completing a small animal rotating internship at Texas A&M in 2004. In 2014, after a rigorous credentialing and examination process, she became board-certified in canine and feline practice with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, and was re-credentialed in 2024.
If you have a pet who needs an abdominal ultrasound please give our office a call to set up this appointment. We will need a referral from your current veterinarian and all recent medical records including lab work.
