Dr. Peters
Dr. James Peters grew up in Bala Cynwyd, and has been practicing veterinary medicine in Montgomery and Delaware counties since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.
After serving as a medical director in Ardmore for many years, Dr Peters decided he was ready to practice closer to his home in Media, and has joined our team at Stoney Creek. He brings with him many years of experience, and a kind, gentle manner that has made him the favorite doctor of many pets (and their owners) over the years. Dr Peters has special interests in dermatology, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Outside of work he enjoys traveling, gardening, painting and photography. He shares his home with a blend of humans, dogs of all shapes and sizes, birds and turtles.
